years ago, i was part of a therapy program. one of the other women there repeated this affirmation: “life is mine”. at the time, it didn’t resonate with me. i didn’t get it. it did not feel relatable to me, i didn’t feel life was mine. as i grew and healed, it stayed in the back of my mind. i gradually began to believe in it. as i went through all the changes ive made in my life, personally and artistically, i have come into my own version of this mantra: life is mine to create. we all have the ability to create our own lives. once i finally started creating mine, instead of just experiencing it as it came, everything got better. xoxoxoxo
